About Baptism
Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church. Through baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God, becoming members of Christ and incorporated into the Church.
Infant Baptism
Parents wishing to have their child baptized should contact the parish office to arrange a baptism preparation session.
Requirements:
- At least one parent must be a practicing Catholic
- Parents must attend a baptism preparation session
- At least one godparent must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic
- Birth certificate of the child
Adult Baptism
Adults seeking baptism should inquire about our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program. This program prepares adults to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
Baptism Dates
Baptisms are celebrated by arrangement. Please contact the parish office to schedule a baptism.
