Para Hills Modbury Catholic Parish has a zero tolerance of abuse of children and vulnerable adults and we take this responsibility very seriously.

Para Hill Modbury Catholic Parish is a child - young person - and vulnerable adult safe organisation and are committed to the care of all persons. In addition, they all have the right to a healthy and safe environment in our parish and to have their voice heard, respected and valued.

Para Hills Modbury Catholic Parish is committed to the policies, practices which reduce the likelihood of harm and will respond appropriately to disclosures and allegations. We also are committed to ensure compliance with all relevant child protection and vulnerable adult laws, regulations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards and to maintain a child safe and vulnerable adult culture.

All volunteers aged 14 and above must have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). All regular volunteers must also complete the Safeguarding Essentials online training course, or a face-to-face course when available.
