About the Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is a consultative body that assists the Parish Priest in the pastoral care and development of the parish. Members represent the diverse communities within our parish and work collaboratively to discern the needs of parishioners and plan for the future.
Role and Responsibilities
The Pastoral Council:
- Advises the Parish Priest on pastoral matters affecting the parish
- Helps identify the spiritual and pastoral needs of parishioners
- Assists in planning parish activities and initiatives
- Promotes communication between parish groups and the wider community
- Supports the mission and vision of the parish
- Encourages participation and engagement in parish life
Meetings
The Parish Pastoral Council meets regularly throughout the year to discuss parish matters and plan for upcoming events and initiatives. Meeting dates are announced in the parish bulletin.
Membership
The Pastoral Council is made up of parishioners who are committed to the life and mission of the parish. Members serve for a set term and represent the various communities and ministries within the parish.
