The Parish Pastoral Council would like to congratulate and thank all of the very many people who contributed to and participated in making our celebrations from Palm Sunday through to Easter Sunday so very special. We thank those who cleaned, prepared and decorated our Churches for the celebrations and then cleaned up again in readiness for the next event. To all of those who took an active ministry in our celebrations such as Mass Managers, Sacristans, Welcomers, Projectionists, Readers or Special Ministers, we thank you for your commitment to serve our community. To those who were willing to participate in the Washing of the Feet, thank you for representing us during that service. Particular thanks go to our many very talented musicians who have practiced long and hard to lead us prayerfully in song during the celebrations >>Read More

The first reading from the Acts of the Apostles describes how Peter fulfils the mission of preaching Jesus. In this second sermon, Peter goes on with the preaching mission begun on Pentecost in Jerusalem, and again presents Jesus as the fulfilment of all the Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. In the second reading, John tells us that true knowledge and love of God consist in acknowledging that Jesus is the expiation for our sins. We make that acknowledgement e  >>btn_read_more
